Ryan grew up in Hudson, New Hampshire where he spent the majority of his formative years. He then went on to study film at the University of Miami. Now living in Los Angeles with his husband, Scott and two dogs (Bert & Ernie), Ryan works in the motion picture business. He has also spent the last eight years volunteering at the LGBT Center where he mentors people through the coming out process. "Thine Own Self" is his first novel and he is in the midst of writing his second novel, "The Obit Writer" which is scheduled for release in 2021. In his off time, he performs improv comedy in Los Angeles.
